Mateo and Nina sit under a big tree. It is snack time! Mateo eats a banana. “I like bananas!” he says. Nina eats a papaya. “I like papayas!” she says. Mateo tries a sour orange. “Oh no! It is too sour. I don’t like sour oranges!” Nina tries yucca chips. “Yum! I like yucca chips!” Mateo shakes his head. “I don’t like yucca chips.” Nina smiles. “That’s okay! You like bananas, and I like papayas. We like different things!” Mateo laughs. “Yes! And that is okay!” Then they eat their snacks, happy together, while monkeys play in the trees. The End.

Later, Cyrus had some of the same thoughts come again in science class, but he remembered to think about his five senses!

Angel,het roze vriendinnetje van stich , legde hen uit dat dit eiland de plek was waar dromen uitkomen. Hier konden ze alles doen wat hun hartje begeerde. Manal wilde vliegen, Sofia wilde leren toveren en Imane vond het heerlijk om met de zachte wolken te spelen. Op het eiland ontmoetten ze ook een vriendelijke roze draak die hen uitnodigde voor een rit door de lucht. Manal voelde zich net een superheld, terwijl Sofia met haar nieuwe toverstok prachtige regenbogen toverde en Imane gilde van plezier in de lucht. De dag vloog voorbij, en toen de zon begon ondergaan, wisten de zusjes dat het tijd was om terug naar huis te gaan. Stitch nam hen mee terug, en zelfs Imane viel in slaap op zijn schouder. Sofia en Manal keken elkaar lachend aan. Wat een avontuur! Thuis, in hun veilige huis bij pappa en mamma, droomden de zusjes verder over hun magische dag. Ze wisten dat hun avonturen nog maar net begonnen waren, want in hun wereld van Disneyfiguren was elke dag een nieuw wonder om te ontdekken. En zo groeiden de zusjes op, altijd omringd door de magie van hun fantasieën, met een stukje Disney in hun hart voor altijd.

Together ,they decided that friendship was indeed more rewarding than any competition could ever be . This spinning gives us day and night. Earth also travels in a path, or orbit, around the Sun. It takes a year for Earth to complete one orbit. This journey through space makes the seasons change from winter to summer. Page 3: The Earth's Moon Earth has one moon. It is called "The Moon." The Moon is a giant rock that orbits Earth. At night, the Moon shines brightly in the sky. Sometimes it looks like a circle, and other times a sliver. The Moon's pull on Earth makes the ocean tides rise and fall. Page 4: Life on Earth Earth is special because it has water, air, and land. These things are essential for life. Many creatures live here, from tiny insects to giant whales. Humans are the only creatures that build cities and travel to space. Page 5: Earth's Rich Resources Earth is full of wonders like forests, rivers, and deserts. These wonders give us food, water, and shelter. We must take care of these resources, for they are not endless. Earth provides everything we need to live and thrive. 1. John Jr and Vasi were playing at John Jr's Granny house. They was playing with some of John Jr's Mom's toys from when she was young. Vasi loved the Polly Pockets. 2. John Jr came across an envelope. Granny said they could open it. A map was in there. John Jr and Vasi studied it for a bit. 3. Granny explained it was a map of the Southside neighborhood. John Jr and Vasi wasted to go there bad, because the map showed a treasure hidden there. Granny took them to the area so John Jr and Vasi could explore. 4. John Jr and Vasiwalkaround for a few hours. They was about to give up, until they noticed an apple tree. The map showed the treasure near that. John Jr and Vasi studied the map a little more to figure out how it was position around that tree. 5. John Jr finds the spot and start digging. They get about 2 ft deep and see this hard plastic container. They get it out. 6. John Jr opens it up and finds a news paper from 1983. The headline was President Reagan created a day to honor Martin Luther King. They find some change that had 1983 imprinted on them. The was a tape of Michael Jackson's Thriller. 5. There was also a Care Bear with a heart on it. There was also some He-Man figurines. They find a box of Nerds candy. They wondered if the Nerds were safe to eat. 6. John Jr and Vasi takes the time capsule back to John Jr's Granny house. Everyone eats some supper. John Jr and Vasi go to their bedroom to play with the time capsule.

Harvey is a bright young man who has an adorable dog named Sparky. Harvey is a 16 year old boy who has been working as a newspaper delivery boy for 3 months of summer. His boss, Mr. Smith wants to employ Harvey for the rest of the year and tells him about 401k. At first Harvey is skeptical and unhappy that more money will be deducted from his check. Mr. Smith tells him that if you put a portion of your money towards a Roth IRA account his money will grow on accrued interest. Harvey was confused at first and so was sparky. Mr. Smith found a beautiful and easy story that he used as an analogy to explain to Harvey what a Roth IRA account is and how does money grow. His retirement account will be worth a lot of money and Harvey decides to listen to his boss. He decided to put 20 dollars every week. After 4 months he had about 355 dollars, which is 35 dollars more than he contributed. He was so happy that his money grew and was happy with his investment. Sparky was also happy.

In front of him, the familiar park had vanished.
