The Ninny is about a brief encounter between an employer and the governess he hires for his children, Yulia. The man calls the governess to his study to discuss the wages owed for the month. The man states that they planned to pay her thirty rubles a month, but she counters that it was forty. He keeps tricking her out of money. The moral of this story is to be strong and stand up for yourself when anybody is trying to put you down or make you lose your spirits.

הסיפור נועד לעזור לילדים ביישנים להתגבר על הביישנות.

לאמיר יש יום הולדת, ורותם מאוד מתרגשת. היא קונה לו מתנה, מכינה לו ברכה יפה והולכת ברגל עם אבא לבית של אמיר ליום ההולדת.
כשמגיעים, יש שם הרבה ילדים: רותם, נגה, אביגיל, מתן, וכמובן גם אמיר. רותם משחקת עם כולם בחבילה הגיעה ובמשחקים אחרים, אוכלת חטיפים וממתקים, ושרה לאמיר שירי יום הולדת.
אבל כשאמא של אמיר מביאה את עוגת יום ההולדת, יש לרותם בעיה: כל הילדים: אמיר, נגה, מתן ואביגיל, רצים לעוגה, יש המולה ורותם מתביישת להדחף ולבקש לעצמה עוגה. היא הולכת לאבא ומבקשת ממנו לעזור לה, ואבא מסביר לה איך לפלס דרך בין הילדים, להושיט את היד ולבקש עוגה.
רותם הולכת לנסות, אבל לא מצליחה לדבר כי היא מתביישת. היא כן מצליחה להושיט יד, וזה מספיק בשביל שאמא של אמיר תשים לב ותיתן לה עוגה.
רותם גאה בעצמה ושמחה, ואוכלת עוגה עם כל שאר הילדים, ומרימה עם כולם את אמיר על הכיסא.
לאחר מכן, בדרך הביתה, אבא אומר לרותם כמה גם הוא גאה בה שהצליחה להתגבר על הביישנות.

Noah finds a working space shuttle in his backyard. It's just big enough to fit him and his trusty side kick, Leo the gray golden-doodle. They climb in and the door closes. Leo accidentally steps on a big red button which turns the spacecraft on. They both look at each other in surprise. The spacecraft fizzles and pops and blasts off into space. Noah and Leo see earth, the moon, the stars and the sun from space. Noah and Leo start to miss their parents, so they pull the decent lever and the spaceship safely lands in the backyard. Noah and Leo climb out and hug each other, grateful  to be back home.
