Meet Donovan, a lively boy who loves running, jumping, and flapping his hands when he gets excited. One day at school, Donovan felt extra bouncy as he entered the classroom. His teacher, Ms. Carter, began talking about feelings, and Donovan’s excitement grew—soon his hands were flapping in the air!

Some classmates noticed and wondered, "Why does Donovan flap his hands?" Ms. Carter smiled and said, "Everyone shows their feelings differently. Some people cheer, others jump, and Donovan flaps. That’s okay!"

Donovan felt proud, knowing his flapping was just how he showed excitement. Then, Ms. Carter introduced a game called Superhero Breathing to help the class calm down when big feelings got too much. She stood tall, breathing in deeply and exhaling slowly.

Donovan tried it too. He stood up, took a deep breath like a superhero, and felt his energy calm down, but he still felt strong. His classmates thought it was so cool, they joined in, practicing superhero breathing together.

They learned that everyone expresses feelings in different ways, and that’s something special. Donovan still loved his super flap, but now he had superhero breathing for when he needed it. The class kept practicing together whenever their feelings got big.

By the end of the day, Donovan realized his greatest superpower was just being himself. Ms. Carter reminded them, “Our differences make us unique.” Donovan felt proud of his super flap and his breathing skills. His classmates celebrated their own special ways of showing feelings too.

Feeling proud and unstoppable, Donovan knew that with superhero breathing and being himself, he could handle any big feelings that came his way.

1. John Jr and Hopsi wanted a better understanding of the virtue charity.  The went to the internet to find out more information.
2.  Charity is a generosity and helpfulness especially toward the needy or suffering. also : aid given to those in need.   In the Bible, charity is that pure love which our Savior Jesus Christ has. He has commanded us to love one another as He loves us. The scriptures tell us that charity comes from a pure heart We have pure love when, from the heart, we show genuine concern and compassion for all our brothers and sisters.  John Jr and Hopsi decide to have pure love from there on out.
3.  John Jr and Hopsi thought of ways they could demonstrate charity.  They thought up some ideas that they could do which include: Thinking and speaking kindly of others 
Praying for the needs of others 
Encouraging others to reach out to people they normally wouldn't 
Loving family and friends 
Treating others with respect and kindness 
Doing good things for others 
Praying for enemies 
Speaking the truth in love 
4.  John Jr and Hopsi decided to raise money or school supplies to help children in need of supplies for school.  They selected a date and made up posters for the event to post around town.  They also put a notice In the local newspaper.  
6. It was the day of John Jr and Hopsi's charitable event.  They set up a table with a jar for cash donations.  They put out empty boxes for any supplies.  Many people came by to drop off donations.  The event brought in $3500 and 5 big boxes of an assortment of supplies.  The supplies included backpacks, notebooks, coloring and writing supplies and glue.  John Jr took everything they had received to the board of education for distribution to children in need.

Page 2: Thomas didn’t know that his friends liked a little more space when they talked.  Sometimes, they would step back, and Thomas didn’t understand why.

Page 3: During class, the teacher took a chalk and drew a big circle on the floor

Page 4: Mrs. Green took a piece of chalk and drew a big circle on the floor. “This is a special circle,” she said. “Let’s imagine it’s our personal space. Everyone has an invisible circle like this around them.”

Page 5: She called one student, Sarah, to stand inside the circle. “Sarah is in her personal space. Now, if someone steps inside her circle without being asked, it feels too close,” Mrs. Green explained. “Let’s try to stay outside each other’s circles unless we are invited in.”

1.  John Jr and Durga was studying the Armor of God and his helmet of salvation.  They wasn't sure of what the helmet of salvation was and looked for more information.
2.  John Jr discovered that piece of armor protects your head from danger and keeps your mind intact. It helps you avoid sinful thoughts and understand what is good and true. 
3..  John Jr added that The helmet of salvation protects something even more precious: our soul. God sent Jesus to die for us so he could give us salvation. If you are wearing the helmet of salvation, the enemy can't touch you.
4.  Durga shared the Bible verse Thessalonians 5:8 with John Jr and told him it tells us to put on faith and love as a breastplate, and to wear the hope of salvation as a helmet.
5.  John Jr and Durga learned the ABCs of salvation.  A – ADMIT you are a sinner. B - BELIEVE Jesus died and rose again to pay for your sins. C - CONFESS Jesus is Lord of your life. Putting your total trust in Jesus as your only hope of salvation.
